The hub combines 640 parking spaces, a bicycle hall and a bus interchange. Because car use in the city is expected to fall, the building is designed to become housing after 2040.
Floor heights are 3.2 m instead of the usual 2.6 m. The ramps are separate structures that can be removed, and the façade of vertical aluminium fins can be taken down panel by panel and reused.
Planting
A row of birch trees along the street side filters dust and noise. Rainwater from the roof is collected and used to water them.
